For the rod rigging and the placement of the shrouds in the spreaders I usually do this;
- At the deck you’ll notice that the small turn buckle is forward of the other 2 so make sure to run this one forward at the spreader ends.
- The other one to place right is the lowest and to some extent it sets the pivot point for the back stay and prevents the mid point of the mast from moving forward to much when the back stay is tensioned. So run this one to the back (aft) of the lowest spreaders.
